What about nutrition? Is this overlooked?
Nutrition and the latest dietary supplementation are areas we pay particularly close attention to. In many fitness circumstances trainers tend to focus on exercise alone, ignoring proper nutritional advice and guidance. This is detrimental to the overall transformation of an individual, and subsequently is quite the opposite to the approach we take on our Muscle Building Programme.
What you eat is crucial to your progress in the gym, and years of trial and error on our part have seen us try out every possible permutation of every existing nutritional school of thought that has ever been conceived by the bodybuilding and athletic community.
In order to create such a successful programme that works, our team is build from those with an array of nutritional qualifications right up to Cambridge University Masters Level in Pharmacology, or more specifically the pharmacological impact of nutrition and nutritional supplementation. The important details of our programme we like to keep close to our chests, and as such are kept exclusively for our clients since it is at the cutting edge of nutritional thinking. We borrow much from the latest scientific findings and research studies from the likes of Mauro Di Pasquale, a world champion bodybuilder and retired Assistant Professor lecturing on athletic performance and nutritional supplements at the University of Toronto.

Our Muscle Fitness, Muscle Building & Bodybuilding Programmes consist of twelve weeks of intensive Workouts which includes the following:
Initial Assessment and BioSignature Consultation
Having worked extensively with Olympic Coach Charles Poliquin, Nick Mitchell implemented BioSignature Modulation into his Fat Loss Programmes as a sure-fire way to achieve notable fat loss and muscle building results.
BioSignature works so remarkably well because it is tailored to your own unique body fat and hormonal composition. In short, it is a painless method to delve deep into your biochemical and hormonal make up to find out what needs to be tackled head on to lose body fat quickly and efficiently. Our clients benefit from its proven protocols by way of easily modulating their exercise, nutrition and supplementation around their own unique hormonal profile. After the additional BioSignature readings, we go through an important Health and Fitness Questionnaire when your Personal Trainer can learn the tough facts about your exercise history and experience, along with vital medical factors. Your Personal Trainer uses this to gain a stronger understanding of you so that it may inform their structuring of our Fat Loss system to best fit around your lifestyle. We follow this strict methodology but seek to tailor it to your unique circumstances.
Naturally we will then undertake an extensive body composition analysis where we calculate:
Body Fat Percentages;
Body Part Measurements, including Weight and Height;
Structural, Postural, and Muscular Balance Testing to Identify Your Strengths and Weaknesses
How We Can Address These Strengths and Weaknesses for an Injury Free Body.
To assess your strength and weaknesses, we conduct the following tests developed by one of the world’s best known physiotherapists Gray Cook:
Deep Overhead Squat
Active Straight Leg Raise
We also test you on several key major resistance exercises in order to assess the structural balance of key supporting musculature such as the rotator cuff. This is to ensure the long term integrity of your body’s muscles and soft tissue, keeping you healthy and active, and not in constant visitation to the physio!
Muscle Fibre Testing
Utilising the data taken during the initial tests we then undertake a series of exercises and movements designed to non-invasively test your muscle fibre makeup and ascertain your balance of Type I, Type IIa and Type IIb muscle fibres.
This is done so we can best decide what training systems and repetition protocols your body will respond effectively to. Interestingly, we all have different fibre make ups in different muscle groups so this testing procedure proves extremely effective in helping us improve stubborn, non-responding muscles.
Nutritional Consultation and Audit
In order for us to maintain our integrity and reputation, it is very important you keep a food diary of exactly what you consume in a regular week. This is very important as it allows us to conduct a full scale audit to necessary accuracy of dietary habits and we can begin to make enlightened decisions to how you eat, rather than blanket statements that do not apply to you as an individual.
Your 12 Week Muscle Building Programme will have very strict nutritional protocols. Our clients all receive highly personalised dietary programmes that will instruct you how you should eat for each and every day of your 84 Day Programme! We go deep into the minutiae because we understand the importance of you knowing exactly what to expect from your programme. Leaving things to chance is not how we gained our impressive reputation!

In addition to your dietary programme, we will also map out a detailed supplementation programme that includes every possible permutation of what food supplements you can take to enhance your progress.
Muscle Building Programme Design
On the basis of the data gathered by our initial consultations we then construct a unique Muscle Fitness, Muscle Building or Bodybuilding workout programme just for you. This is a 12 week workout plan that is designed to evolve as your own conditioning improves and will see you gaining noticeable muscular weight and strength within the first 10 days.
We also take into account the information gathered during the physical assessments, and construct a plan that takes into account any pre existing or potential structural / muscular imbalances, addressing weaknesses head on and eliminating them with the application of modern sports science programme design.
Personal Training Sessions
In order to get the results you want you will meet with your Personal Trainer three times a week for twelve weeks. In this time you can perform your agreed Muscle Building exercises and workouts, robust enough to start feeling a different person within a few weeks.
During your workouts your Personal Trainer will pay close attention to your form, your fitness and your progress in order to effectively monitor your Muscle Building goals. Your Personal Trainer will provide a service combining motivator, educator, statistician and task master!
We pay extremely close attention to everything that you do when exercising with us, always monitoring your form, your fitness and your progress, and view the “in the gym” part of our service as being a combination of motivator, educator, statistician and task master!
What we expect from you!
We are very proud of our 12 Week Muscle Building Programme reputation, and will do nothing to compromise said reputation built over a long time of hard work from both our clients and Personal Trainers. Unlike most Personal Trainers who will take on any client, no matter how wavering their commitment, we are very particular about who we take on as a client. To this extent there are certain conditions that we demand each client agrees to before embarking on the 12 Week Muscle Building Programme:
Make the time to train with us three times a week. We are willing to work at any time of the day or night, and will even open the gym at 4am if you ask us very nicely! There are always legitimate reasons not to exercise, but we will not accept if you can’t find the time for a six week period which, relative to your entire life-span, is a tiny amount of time.
Give up alcohol, wheat and processed foods for at least the first 14 days of the Meltdown programme.
Accept that you must follow the 90/10 rule. 90% of what you do from exercise to food intake must be EXACTLY as we tell you. The other 10% we leave to your conscience.
Give 100% effort throughout the programme and maintain a positive approach at all times. Building muscle isn’t a walk in the park, but if you embrace it wholeheartedly you will have an enjoyable, energising, and wholly rewarding experience.
These are the things that we expect of you. If they sound too challenging, then we are sorry but perhaps Muscle Building Programme isn’t for you.
